Jakub joined Vistula Risk Solutions in July 2021. He moved to us from the analysis department of one of the Warsaw banks, where he checked the credit portfolios of small companies for 4 years. At VRS, he deals with what is most important: checking if your counterparty really has the money they talk about. Facts, not forecasts – that is his principle. You won't get bulky volumes of theory from him, just a concrete 3-4 page report from which it is clear whether it is worth entering a given deal.

In October 2023, Jakub detected hidden capital links in a supplier of one of our transport industry clients. Thanks to this intervention, the company avoided an administrative fine of 72,400 PLN for breaking sanctions regulations. Jakub does not look for a needle in a haystack just for fun. He looks at real cash flows and payment terms. If 12% of declared funds are missing from documents, he will catch it in 15 minutes. We act fast because time is capital, so Jakub provides a preliminary business partner verification usually in 3.5 business hours.

His daily work is mainly sanctions analysis and continuous liquidity monitoring. In 2024, he has already prepared 142 reports for trading companies operating in difficult eastern markets. Every such document is real asset protection against payment bottlenecks. We save liquidity, not paper, so Jakub focuses only on those numbers that can actually stop your production or deliveries. If he sees that a given entity is late with payments for more than 24 days, you immediately get a warning signal from us.

Outside Excel tables, Jakub makes sure that our internal database is refreshed every 12 hours. We do not rely on old lists bought in packages from intermediaries. Jakub himself verifies entries in KRS, CEIDG, and foreign trade registries. He can be very direct – if he thinks a transaction is risky, he will tell you straight, without sugarcoating. Such honesty already saved 31 of our clients from entering toxic partnerships last quarter.
